Prayer For Steve's Dad

RESCUE Sings for Steve's Dad

On Monday the 1st of July, RESCUE's bass, Steve Cross was dirt biking with his dad and some friends in a fairly remote area. Steve’s father had a problem with the chain and the bike wheels stopped abruptly as he was riding around a bank berm. The bike actually fell on top of him after he was thrown. Thankfully, Steve was with him at the time and was able to get him to a hospital.

He has suffered some broken ribs, a broken collar bone and shoulder blade, and a pulmonary contusion. During our Sunday evening rehearsal on the 9th we headed over to Steve's parents' house to sing a few songs for him and hopefully cheer him up a little as he is stuck in bed for a while. Steve's grandparents were there too and we had a really nice time chatting with them for a while before we went back to rehearsing.

We are thankful that he is recovering well, and we would ask for prayer that he would heal quickly, and without long-term effects.
