Saying Hello to Brandon, Best Wishes to Dustin

Dear Prayer Team,

As you may know we had the pleasure of welcoming our new vocal percussionist/vocalist Brandon Bell and his wife Becky into the RESCUE family. We had a nice get-together on Friday night, shared a nice dinner, and had a very sweet time of fellowship, sharing and prayer. We are excited about what the Lord is doing with the ministry and are looking forward to an amazing 2007!

You may also already know that one of the challenges that we are facing is that we need to fill one of our lead/tenor spots as Dustin has decided, after much prayer, that it would be best if he resign and secure adequate employment that will meet his financial needs and provide the time needed to spend with his children. He was just not able to find employment that would allow him the flexibility needed to sing with RESCUE. We are sad to see him go but we are very supportive of his decision. He gave us plenty of preparation time and allowed us to finish out the year with a full group. We are very thankful for the time God allowed for us to sing with him and he will be missed.

We have some VERY good prospects for new vocalists and are very excited to see who the Lord will provide to fill the position. Jason is an incredibly flexible musician and has found creative ways to use the four people we have now to cover our arrangements until we find our new guy.

That having been said, obviously we have jumped into heavy rehearsal mode as we get the current group ready for full concerts.
